Similarly he employs a number of tricks such as call and response to really grab your attention and make sure he keeps hold of it. The result is a strong and fascinating album that seems to sit just outside of time, feeling like it absorbs the past and yet definitely is of the present. It’s one of those album that gives a lot, but gives it slowly at different times on different listenings.”
